A big step has been taken with the creation of the first industry standard for Large Language Models (LLMs). This could greatly affect how LLMs are used in businesses. Interestingly, this was led by the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP), not generative AI providers.
They've just launched version 1.0 of their Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications. OWASP's Top 10s help developers avoid common security issues when writing code.
